Stash Box Reveal - July 2023

I was laughing to myself mere minutes into stitching this month's sample because there I was, unpicking the bloody thing for the second time already, proving the importance of counting properly!

I really enjoyed stitching this sample up and I'm looking forward to taking the time to add a back to it properly for the wall. I think that the colours really pop on the black aida and it's made me want to do some more patterns on dark backgrounds.

This month's Deluxe Box treat is a bookmark project I created in collaboration with Emma from The Maker's Marks. Emma has created a tutorial for a needlepoint stitch and I've put together a mini-kit, which includes instructions, canvas and a skein of DMC soft cotton thread to use. I've decided to keep the kit a secret until boxes arrive, but I'll be adding a couple of spares to the subscribers section of the website once the boxes ship.
