Not gonna lie. We're on day, what, 7? of September '23 and I'm not a fan. There's another 22 days for the month to redeem itself, though! This month's pattern was inspired by a friend of mine, who was in receipt of some good fortune and spent a lot of time waiting for something to go wrong - doubting she was worthy. I was laughing to myself mere minutes into stitching this month's sample because there I was, unpicking the bloody thing for the second time already, proving the importance of counting properly! This month's pattern is called This Is Nice. It's a double pattern though, because I can't leave nice alone and so many of you enjoy a bit of subversive stitching! The "nice" version includes some backstitched florals, while the snarky version is, well.... !
